Black Cherry Lived Edge Wood with Fractal Burning and Epoxy Resin

This beautiful piece of black cherry was fractal burned and then the “rivers” and void filled with epoxy resin. See the last photo for the before and during! 23” x 10” x 1.5”, weighs 6.75lbs, ready to hang.

Fractal burning occurs when a conductive solution is applied to the wood and then electricity is introduced via 2 electrodes wired from a transformer (microwave). As the current tries to connect, the high voltage burns river like patterns into the wood.
